Reactions (aka agreements)
In addition to making their own comments, respondents can react to others' comments
Reactions (formerly known as agreements) allow respondents to react to comments made by other people. Currently, we have only one reaction type which is a 'like' or 'agree', displayed on the contributions list page or on the community heatmap as a 👍.
The person who made the original comment will be notified that another community member reacted with their comment on the 1st, 5th, 10th etc reaction. This is a very helpful way to bring people back to the platform to see how the engagement or consultation is progressing, and to keep the people who are most influential engaged in the conversation.
Respondents who add reactions can view the history of their reactions in their My Profile.
As an Engagement Partner, your team can view the count of reactions in your dashboard in the 'Agreements' (soon to be renamed to reactions) column of the contributions comments list tab.
You can sort and filter using this column as you would any other column in the dashboard. For example, if you wish to filter by for all the comments that answered 'Add crossings' and had more than 10 reactions, this would be a good way to understand the level of support for certain initiatives.
As with any other contribution in the comments list tab, you can click on the row in the table and view the detail sitting behind this. In this view, we'll display the number of reactions made on the comment, as in the screenshot below.
The count of reactions is shown on your tiles on the hub page, encouraging users to read comments and reactions left by their neighbours, which will encourage further participation.

Users can scroll and add a reaction to the comments that they like or support.
Respondents who have reacted are vetted in just the same way as respondents who add their own comments. They are required to complete an email verification before their reaction will be published and counted. In addition, their usage is subject to the same checks against our Acceptable Use Policy made by our GamingAI technology.
