When to close or archive tiles 

When you would like to stop receiving comments on a specific tile there are two options: you can set it to ‘Completed’ to close it for commenting or archive it. 

Closing a tile (setting it to ‘Completed’) means that members of the public will still have quick access to the tile and its content from the home page but that the public will no longer be able to comment. Archiving a tile means that the tile will be closed for commenting and also hidden from the home page, allowing visitors to focus on more recent or relevant content.

How to close or archive tiles

1. In edit mode, use the drop-down bar on the top-left of the page and locate the tile you would like to close/archive and click on it.

2. Once you are previewing the tile of choice click on the second drop-down bar at the top of the page and change the proposal’s stage from ‘active’ to ‘completed’ or ‘archived’.

3. Lastly, Click ‘Save’. Your tile is now closed/archived. This means that the public will no longer be able to comment on this tile.
