How to create a map tile

Invite visitors to comment on a heatmap of the consultation area

What is a heatmap?

A map is a great way to get feedback from the public on a specific area. It is a great visual aid when visitors leave their comments. Inside your map tile you have the ability to add welcome information, images and questions among other media. 

Beside asking respondents to pin the map we can also raise a few questions related to the map.

How to create and edit a map tile?


To create a map, and edit questions simply follow the steps in this video: 


For support with the boundary of the map, please contact your Customer Success Manager for support.

We can only upload 2 types of files to create boundaries:

  • 'Shapefiles' which is a collection of geo data files which can normally be provided from geographic information systems software 
  • GeoJSON file which is a simplified geo data file
