How to reorder tiles

As the project needs change, you may need to reprioritise the order of the tiles. The tiles are drop and drag-able. So you can move them in whatever order you like. See steps below on how to get this done quickly.

Please note: The tiles/proposals in the ‘Have your say’ webpage cannot be reordered. You can only reorder tiles in the ‘Page preview cards’

How can I reorder my tiles?

1. On the homepage of your Commonplace website, click on Edit page as shown in the red frame below.


2. In edit mode, click on the Add tab, drag the page preview cards and drop this in the mobile phone screen as shown below. Then, click on PAGES as shown in the mobile phone screen to view the proposals properties.

3. As shown in the video below, click on the dropdown list under Order > select Custom > toggle on your desired tiles > hit the Save button to preview selected tiles in the mobile phone screen


4. You can then reorder the tiles by selecting a tile and moving it upwards or downwards as desired and hitting the Save button afterwards to preview the reordered tiles in the mobile phone screen, as shown in the video below.


5. Finally, toggle off the Proposals section on the right hand side of the page and rename the Pages section on the left hand side of the page as shown in the video below. Don’t forget to hit the Save button.
