How to pause your consultation

There are two ways of pausing the consultation period. 


The most common one simply close any active tiles for commenting until it is time again to collect feedback from the public. When you are ready to consult again, simply contact your Customer Success Manager or send an email to customers@commonplace.is stating that you would like to reopen the tiles for commenting or create new active tiles with questions and we will guide you through the process.


A rarer (not recommended) way of pausing a consultation is through reverting the entire website back to its testing stage. This prevents members of the public from commenting or reading website content until the entire platform is reactivated again. This method of pausing a consultation can only be used for special circumstances (e.g. a new feature is introduced during the pause which would temporarily make the website look unfinished).
